Today is Sant Jordi (St George's Day) the Patron Saint of Catalunya. You buy roses for women and books for men (or just any of the two for either). Streets are flooded with roses and book stands; the publishers launch most books today, authors sign them in special stalls... I almost always have to be in the UK for Sant Jordi. it's such a pity! But I celebrate it from here, wishing you all Bon Sant Jordi! Here, have a rose :rose: and a book :bookdiva:. Happy Saint Jordi especially to MB and her brain full of articles waiting in Sevilla to be called on stage, and to my two Catalan watchers (who're prob not subscribed to the journal), :iconsa

Hi, I thought this was a good day to introduce you to Berlineta and Bretzeleta: Photo ----> http://piatarunga.deviantart.com/art/Berlineta-and-Bretzeleta-81609945 They are German pastries - from the early 1990ies. I keep them in a drawer in my room. As you see, they're happy. During one of our holidays - those things we did when I was a kid - we bought a Berliner (German doughnut without a hole, filled with jam) and a small Bretzel at a Berlin train station. My mum and I began to interact with the Berliner, then with the Bretzel, eventually giving them names (Berlineta, Bretzeleta). How could we eat them, how? So we kept them, not before

My 4-month-old Macbook has crashed. In one single second. First it froze, I couldn't 'force quit' so I switched it off. Upon switching it on, I heard a loud clac-clac-clac noise inside (like if there's a loose piece) and instead of booting, a folder with a question-mark blinked on the screen. Called Apple (fortunately, very quick reply). The harddisk is dead. I'm not the only one -- the customer rep confessed that they're having many similar problems with Macbooks that were manufactured around the same time. Apple bought a large amount of harddrives from either Samsung or Siemens (he didn't know), and that company found out they had made a
